This is the first part of a rare collection covering some 200 years of opera re-mastered from 78 RPMs. Among the interpreters Tamagno singing for Verdi his Otello ! or Amalita Galli-Curci a mythical soprano, we also hear Apollo Granforte, Caruso, Pertile the great d’Alessio, Gino Bechi and so many others such as Lindi, Boninsegna or Lappas etc…. Opera lovers will appreciate these editions that are difficult to find. The best signal to noise ratio was obtained without changing the quality of the voices.
