Hi

My name is Bob Allen also known as Bobby Allen. I was born the day after Pearl Harbor December 8,1941 in Crosskeys, South Wales. I grew up in London. I decided music would be my career after attending a Bill Haley concert as a teenager in London.

I came to the States as part of the British Invasion as the drummer for The Fabulous Minets of London in 1964. I played with Sunday's Child, Freddie and the Freeloaders, and the Jesters. While playing with these bands I was also a disc jockey for popular radio station in Providence, Rhode Island. I was known as British Bobby.

I moved to California in the late sixties to audition for "The Cowsills" new television series. It became "The Partridge Family"

Some of the popular personalties I have had the pleasure of performing with are David Bowie, then known as David Jones and The King Bees, Jerry Lee Lewis and Jimmy Page. Locally I have played for several years with David Wendells and Dave Schaffner in the trio "Rockability".

My main instrument is the drums. I can play piano and the guitar

On this CD I play and sing just about everything.
The material has strong Christian overtones,
some country and of course my favorite Rockabilly.
