At Landshark Recording in Farmville, Virginia, we are proud to promote our new artists who are getting into the industry. Adrienne Parran, or "Colada," is our first female rap artist and R&B singer off our record label. At age 16, "Colada" called her father, our owner, on the phone and started rapping and singing. Her father decided to go to school and learn about the music production process. She did the entire vocal modeling for his projects, and self-produced her first album when she was 17. She is now 18, and writing all of her own music and lyrical tracks. Her CD "Cold Shoulder" is the title track of her album coming out in September or October of 2006. It has no profanity; it's clean and appropriate for any age. "Colada" sings about love, friendships, and real life. You'll love her robust and heartfelt vocals.
