Michael has been playing music for 35 years, both as a pianist and guitarist. He studied music theory in Ogden, Utah, and has performed with a wide variety of musicians of various styles including pop, jazz, rock, blues, Motown, Christian, and big band. He currently has his own studio, and has produced, engineered, and performed on several projects and CD’s. An avid jazz enthusiast, musical influences include Ramsey Lewis, Dave Benoit, Gene Harris, Michael McDonald, and Steely Dan.

This CD is his first solo release. It features original contemporary jazz, classic jazz and R&B hits, instrumental and vocal compositions.
