Born in Cambodia and raised in Portland, Maine, the gifted singer, songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist, dancer and actress, is deeply influenced by the music of legendary pop icon Michael Jackson. She also admires and is inspired by Jessie J, Rihanna, The Weeknd, Drake, Bruno Mars, and P!nk. Like these superstar artists, MICHAELA strives to have a long-term career in entertainment.
 
On a daily basis, she can be found in the studio producing songs she has written. MICHAELA also idolizes powerhouse hit-makers Pharrell, Kanye West, and Big Sean. She respects their longevity and hopes to follow in their producing footsteps.
