Sapta, meaning the number '7' in Sanskrit, was created by Marti Bharath, in July 2007. Holding a background from Paris, Dubai & Chennai, he uses wide range of Electronic Sounds, giving him no limits to the composing patterns.

Sapta played many Concerts in various venues in Paris with the band. Sapta has also DJ'd over 25 venues around Europe & Asia.
On March 7th 2011, Marti released his 1st Self-Produced Solo Record "The 7th Chapter" through Artist Aloud, Bombay.
This record consists 7 tracks of Electronic Indian Music with two challenging singles 'Raincoats' & 'I Will Survive'.

On June 7th 2011, Sapta released its mysterious Self-Produced Record #2... THE GIFTED MADNESS
This record also consists 7 tracks of tilted Electronic-Rock music which includes smashing singles 'The Gifted Madness' & 'That's Their Way'.

On November 7th 2011, Sapta finally released one of its long awaited records, 'Straight Balance'. Marti Bharath clearly experiments the French Touch with Indian Roots and brings out a massive Electronic power to the record. This record is so far listed as an Electro/BigBeat genre based compilation.
STRAIGHT BALANCE
Working with two talented French vocalists, Betty Jardin & Precillia Esnard, Marti has also added an Elegant Funk Touch to the whole record. In collaboration with The Brew Records, Sapta launched this record in stores November, 2011.
