The Sobeit Union is a statement both lyrically and instrumentally that deviating from the norm is not only encouraged, but essential in one's development and well being. Lyrically, the album covers concepts such as the examination of current social establishments, as well as internal struggles in the individual. It's title track focuses on an interpretation of modern day democracy as a failing system that does not truly represent society as a whole, and does not address major problems arisen in society today. Instrumentally, the album experiments with song structures and focuses more on song progression as opposed to a “verse-chourus-bridge” format or catchy hooks. The music snapshots a diverse array of genres, but and generally be described as Hard Rock or Progressive Rock.
