I look back at 1969 as one of the greatest years of my life. Man walked on the moon, my beloved Mets won the World Series, and best of all, Santa brought me my very own “stereo set”. I then began assembling what was to become a rather eclectic record collection. My first “LP “ was the original cast recording of “Hair.” I also listen to The Beatles, anything by the Fifth Dimension, Eydie Gorme, the speeches of Martin Luther King, even “The Cincinnati Bengals sing Christmas Carols.” And, I have especially fond memories of a Buddy Rich album featuring his 12 year-old daughter singing “The Beat Goes On.” I told you my collection was eclectic!
