"Valentina" was originally meant to be released on my birthday. But I liked it enough to release it earlier.

I remember watching a documentary about space flight and thinking when her segment came on, "16 June 1963! That's my birthday, only, like, 50 years earlier! The first woman in space went up on MY BIRTHDAY!" I was around 8 at the time, but the incident has stuck with me ever since.

And this song is about a little kid, who could be me, who wishes that Valentina had taken her on the spaceflight that day.
