For over a decade now the Hip-Hop scene has become a pale shadow of its former greatness. Long past are the days of 2Pac and Biggie, who from opposite coasts, ruled his lyrical kingdoms with stories as colorful as the cities they represented, as gritty as the streets where they learned how to grind, and as tragically poignant as the fates which befell them. Since the end of the genres golden age a few greats, legends by all rights, have risen from the ranks. Names such as Jay-Z and Nas have paved the way for a new hip-hop royalty to be crowned. Led by contemporaries by the likes of TI, Drake, and J. Cole, Daddy would like to throw his name into contention for the title of the games next big thing.

In a world where most of the players are pretentious posers, using weak rhymes to rap about a lifestyle they never lived before producing his first music video, Daddy paints a picture more vivid than Disney and as hot as the city he represents. Beginning his rap career in a dorm room, Daddy seemed destined to succeed. Daddy's whimsical and puckish demeanor is only overshadowed by the undeniable chemistry he embodies on stage and in the recording booth. On any given evening, Daddy can be found tearing up the west coast nightlife, hustling his way into a life of lavish decadence, living the lifestyles that fuel his lyrical assault upon the world.

Unlike many Hip-Hop artists of his generation who rap almost exclusively about his b**ches and his bling, Daddy strives to craft true to life stories using the poetry of the streets. Raised in, Los Angeles and Oakland respectively, Daddy takes his tales of tribulation and triumph, adversity and victory, combining them into what they have referred to as, “west coast swag with an east coast flow.” Inspired by other musical genres such as R&B, Dubstep, and EDM, Daddy brings to the table a style both familiar and unique in an attempt to both transform and transcend the status quo with a sound which can be enjoyed by Hip-Hop purists to raving club kids and everything in between.
