Seven Million Suns

Seven Million Suns

If you want an alternative to Stratocaster rock-blues, try Seven Million Suns. Campbell and Foreman take blues into the future while honoring the deep roots. The music is grounded in delta styles, pushed by world rhythms, and executed in a raw, immediate style. American roots music permeates the original compositions.

Chuck Foreman (harp, vocals, bass) draws on 40 + years of professional experience. Founding member of the Blues Hawks, he's lived and played in New Orleans, Hawaii, and California. He's played at the Sacramento and the Santa Barbara Blues Festivals, and has shared the stage with Charlie Musselwhite, James Harman, Tom Ball, and Eddie Kirkland.

John Campbell (guitars, vocals, keyboards, bass, hand drum, loops), from Chicago, favors delta-style slide. Founding member of Basement Blues, he is an emerging songwriter in the alternative blues genre. Campbell, an author, has published articles on blues evolution, and is currently at work on a blues novel.
