All of the hip hop artists on this compilation album were invited by Phatbrim in January, 2010 to join the collective group of artists that would eventually contribute to a Wisconsin charity hip hop compilation album organized and put out by Phatbrim and his record label, Tax Parade Records LLC, an independent hip hop label out of Madison, WI. This has been an idea of Phatbrim's for 6 years - to have an album that displays all of the many talented artists from Wisconsin that continually contribute to the genre of hip hop in the state and outside of it.
