Dreambeach is a bass/voice duet featuring bassist Daniel V Lewis and myself, Pipa Pinon, on vocals. We are based out of Santa Cruz California and have played together for over 20 years. Guitarist, Bill Walker and drummer Jim Norris round out the fuller version of my band: Dreambeach.

We have toured Europe, mostly busking in the streets of Copenhagen, Amsterdam and Paris. While in Europe, we were booked into several venues including; Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, Copenhagen Jazzhouse in Denmark, The Bataclan in Paris, Twin Pigs in Amsterdam, and a local Amsterdam TV station. Here in the U.S. we've played many wonderful clubs including CBGB's in New York, the Roxy in LA, the Club Utah in San Francisco and the Kuumbwa Jazz Center in Santa Cruz California and well as playing up and down the West Coast and across the Southwest including 'The End of the Universe Cafe' in Taos, New Mexico. Pipa Pinon recorded with the late Michael Hedges CD, the' Road to Return' for Windham Hill Records. We've shared the stage with some of our favorite artists such as Laurie Anderson at the Henry Miller library in Big Sur California, Joan Baez at Escalen in Big Sur California, David Lindley at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz and Suzanna Baca at Palookaville in Santa Cruz California.

Daniel Lewis and I have produced many shows and cabarets in Santa Cruz. Pipa is a vocal teacher and Daniel teaches bass. We have written and produced 3 musical plays and are busy enjoying life, music and creating our lastest musical, 'Campground'. We would love you to put our music to film.
