DtK, or "Dave the King" was born on November 21, 1989 in the city of charm, Baltimore, MD. At an early age he relocated to Shannon, NC, where he began to establish himself as a prodigal genius. DtK developed a fascination with literature and dreamed of becoming a writer. He is notable for many achievements including; pursuing dual enrollment combining secondary and post secondary education ultimately resulting in a college graduation before completing high school, achieving a near perfect score on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, and becoming a successful member of the United States Air Force.

DtK’s most prominent feature and true passion however, is his exceptional drive to create music. Being a prosperous Literature major in college allowed DtK to apply his quick wits to songwriting and he has been doing just that since 2007.
