Microcosm is the second album by The David Mitton Project. Which is the work of alto saxophonist David Mitton. Joining the project is Marcus Monteiro on baritone sax, Jim Robitaille on guitar, and Miki Matsuki on drum set. Bassist Michael Lavoie, and tenor saxophonist Bill Jones return as they can be heard on the first album, 'Catapult'. Microcosm is a diminutive, representative world, a system more or less analogous to a much larger system in constitution, configurement, or development. The idea behind the definition can be inspiring, which is the reason the album is called 'Microcosm'.
