
Jawoll
Jawoll was a German band in the early 1980s as part of the Neue Deutsche Welle was commercially successful in Germany.The guitarist Robert Foster was English, so their songs, the band initially composed mostly of English , including its later success as titles " Taxi ". Inspired by the band Ideal decided donated to compose only in German. There were only a few appearances needed by Rüssl Räckords , the record company of comedian Otto Waalkes to be discovered. It was followed by the publication of the first and only album, "I won", the single "Taxi" the top 20 in the German Single Charts. The guitarist Robert Foster emigrated to the dissolution of Canada and from there joined the singer Jann Arden on, he celebrated with some international success. The singer Kornelia Scholz died 1988 in leukemia .
