Livin Out Loud is an R&B music group consisting of brother and sister, Reuben and Sylvia MacCalla. The group also formerly included Lisa LaShawn, Dminor, and J. Martini. All five are professionals in the entertainment industry. Sylvia MacCalla is an actor/singer/songwriter (Rent, Hairspray, Ray [stageshow], etc.); J Martini is an actor/singer/songwriter (Jersey Boys, General Hospital, etc.); Lisa LaShawn is a singer/songwriter (written for Mandy Moore and others); and Reuben MacCalla is a producer/songwriter/performer. Though no longer in the foreground, J. Martini and Dminor both maintain close involvement with the group, the former as a guitarist and songwriter, the latter as a producer.
