
Henry Mancini & His Orchestra
Henry Mancini (1924.4.16—1994.6.14), an American in multiple music roles, was one of the great film composers. He won 4 Oscars, 1 Golden Globe, 20 Grammys and a posthumous Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. His works included themes for "Peter Gunn" and "The Pink Panther", "Moon River", etc. "The Music from Peter Gunn" won the first Grammy for Album of the Year. He had a long collaboration with Blake Edwards. His "Love Theme from Romeo and Juliet" was a No. 1 hit on the Hot 100 for 2 weeks starting from the week ending June 28, 1969.
