Debutant music director Santhosh Kumar Dayanidhi, is all smiles because he got to score the music for the Santhanam-starrer Inimey Ippadithaan. Santhosh says that his lessons with AR Rahman have helped groom him into a full-fledged musician. From Kadal to Lingaa, I did keyboard programming for Rahman sir for three years and studied music in his school. Every session that I had with him was a big lesson. Rahman helped me understand the technique of using songs to create background music, says Santhosh. Asked if he had played his songs for Rahman, he smiles and says that sir is not in Chennai. “By the time sir comes to the city, the film would have been released in theatres.
