For nearly a decade Mike Allen has been playing guitar and singing in the band Sunday Flood. While Allen continues duties in the former he has found an outlet in writing and recording music very much his own. In his work Allen contemplates ideas born out of social convention, challenging the listener to embrace a more purposeful way of living. Mike openly admits his songcraft is as much a hobby as it is therapy, which becomes apparent from the personal nature of the music and the circumstances from which it is born.\r
