
Julian Perkins
ulian Perkins is an established soloist, chamber musician and music director who plays regularly with leading ensembles including concerto appearances with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and The Sixteen. Based in London, he is the founder-director of the period instrument group Sounds Baroque and teaches harpsichord at the Royal Northern College of Music. \r \r Julian Perkins is increasingly in demand as an opera conductor. He has conducted staged productions at the Buxton Festival and for New Chamber Opera, New Kent Opera and the Cambridge Summer Music Festival. His commitments for 2012 including conducting Mozart's La finta giardiniera for the Dutch National Opera Academy.
