Desiigner initially gained major recognition for his hit single Panda, which became popular in its own right after it was sampled in Kanye West's song "Pt. 2 on The Life of Pablo. On February 11, 2016, Kanye West announced Desiigner's signing to the GOOD Music imprint, under the aegis of Def Jam Recordings
